This is my 6th tattoo. I got it in memory of my 4 great grandmothers. I grew up with all 4 of them and they all died within a year of each other (when i was 22).
The sparrows always return to the same location when the migrate. In addition, once they find a mate they always keep them. As a maritime/sailing tradition it symbolizes that no matter how far a sailor travels, they will return home and be faithful.
This tattoo is by Wes Schulz at DreamsCollide in Lancaster, PA

This is my first tattoo, located on my inner wrists. It was done by a dear friend and tattoo artist, Milton Nunez from MyTattoo in Alhambra, CA. He has done my mom’s entire cartoon sleeve, and I knew when I was ready for my first tattoo that he’d be the one I’d trust to execute it perfectly. And obviously, he did. After about two hours, he successfully brought my vintage Mickey Mouse + Minnie Mouse “kiss at the wrist” idea to life. When I bring my wrists together, as shown in the lower photo, they kiss. Disney has always been such a huge part of my life, and I thought this simple yet adorable tattoo would be a great start. The love between the two characters is a love that I would kill to experience in my life. I already can’t wait to get more tattoos. I will always return to Milton. I don’t believe in going to multiple artists. Hopefully I will have more to submit soon :]

“But then it stopped and I was in the darkness. And darkness I became.”
After a black period of time that ended with my father´s death on January, I felt myself surrounded by darkness. But instead getting lost or desperate for not seeing, I adapted to that environment and survived. Just like the bats do. So i got this tattoo done to remember that in the darkest moments you gotta be strong and adapt.
